Degree Overview

Students and professionals in the radiography field have an opportunity to advance their careers by earning a Bachelor of Science in Medical Imaging degree from ºÚÁϳԹÏ. The online Medical Imaging program option is designed for students who hold or are in the process of earning primary pathway certification in radiography with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

Advanced coursework along with hands-on externships prepare students for post-primary certification in specialized modalities such as computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), cardiac/vascular interventional procedures (CI/VI) , mammography (M), bone densitometry (BD) and medical imaging informatics (SIMM/PARCA). The externship component allows students to complete a specified set of clinical requirements outlined by the By fulfilling the requirements, you will be eligible for post-primary certification in your desired discipline(s). Additionally, a Medical 3D Printing Specialist Certificate is also available for students to pursue.

Applicants must be ARRT-registered and a certified technologist, or a current student in a radiography program.
